Introduction

Change line endings(LF, CRLF, CR) on save/create.
If line endings of current file is not your settings, change to your settings.

Settings

Global settings

Tools > Options > Editor > Line Endings
Please check "enable" and choose kind of line endings.

Project settings

project properties > Line Endings
Please select global or project. You can also change "enable" with LF|CR|CRLF button on Toolbar.

Not working?

I'm using Netbeans 8.1.
When open php file that was saved with Windows line ending, I change the file content and save. My option is set to Unix line ending my project option use global option.
But... it was not changed. It is still Windows line ending. I have to use this plugin which is working. I can change line ending and save.

Hi. I read this article: http://gualtierotesta.wordpress.com/2014/02/02/netbeans-plugin-for-file-line-endings/ - Is it also possible to change the line endings for a HTML5 project in NetBeans? Because there I cannot finde the option "Line Endings".

Works nicely!

Appears to work just great. Unlike the other line-ending plugin this one will set the line ending when you create a new file. Combining the two line ending plugins together is a good idea, as the other one allows for quick switching.

Very useful when you're working on a mounted Unix drive in Windows and things start getting quirky when you run code on Unix that was written in Windows and it constantly adds and removes Windows line endings.
