You can change under Options -> PHP -> PHP Manual the search url.
Download your languages from php.net and set the local url to display the manual.
You can select the PHP-Function in your editor and make a right-click and you see the "open php manual".

NullPointerException
I got a NPE when I not select the full word. It would be nice that PHP Manual would work, when my cursor is placed inside the word too.
file_pu|t_contents (| = cursor) -> right click -> open php manual. But this causes the NPE.
