netbeans freeze for assign increment operator

a great plugin but found a problem for my project:

netbeans with freemarker plugin freeze when opening freemarker file with such a statement:
<#assign x++>

or
<#assign x+=1>

Re: Alternative (square bracket) syntax

It is already supported, but you must add [#ftl] in the first line.
I will try to set auto-detection as a default in the next version.

Alternative (square bracket) syntax

FreeMarker supports an alternative syntax, where [ and ] is used instead of < and > in FreeMarker directives and comments, for example:

[#list animals as animal]...[/#list]

Can you add support for this syntax, too?
